A conference titled “Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence” was held at Balıkesir University (BAÜN).

The conference, held at the BAÜN Atatürk Congress and Culture Center Malazgirt Conference Hall and attended by Businessman, Researcher, Author and also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkey Thought Platform Taşkın Koçak as a speaker, was attended by BAÜN Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt, Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay, Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Faculty of Arts and Sciences Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Şahin, Faculty of Health Sciences Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Sibel Ergün, İvrindi Health Services Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pelin Palas Karaca, Savaştepe Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilmi Tunahan Akkuş, academic and administrative staff and students.

In his speech, Taşkın Koçak provided information about the technologies that create the Metaverse universes, underlining that the Metaverse is a reality and indispensable of our day and that preparations should be made for the Metaverse, he talked about the future with virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

The conference, which was held by the Electrical and Computer Systems Student Community, whose academic advisor was Prof. Dr. Ayhan İstanbullu, ended with the presentation of a gift to Taşkın Koçak by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay.
