In the event titled “Future with Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence” organized by our university, Businessman, Researcher, Author and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkey Thought Platform Taşkın Koçak gave information to our students about Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence.

The program attended by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sıddıka Özkaldı Karakuş, our academicians and our students took place on Wednesday, December 6th at the Conference Hall of our University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Stating that Metaverse, which creates educational environments where students and teachers can interact in real time in virtual worlds and offer experiential learning opportunities, is a reality and indispensable of our day, Koçak stated that thanks to Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence, high-quality education opportunities can be provided to more students worldwide.

Sharing important information with our students about the internet, 5G, Web 3.0, XR (VR, AR, MR), Blockchain, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence technologies that make up the Metaverse universes; gave examples of using Metaverse in many areas, especially in education, social, entertainment, tourism, sports, business, industry, finance and health.

The event ended with the answering of our students’ questions.
