Researcher-writer, businessman and President of Adam and Eve Association, Taşkın Koçak, talked about the cultural transformation that will occur in the future of humanity and the basic qualities of life promised by Metaverse, at the conference titled “Mataverse and Artificial Intelligence” organized by our University.

Prof. Dr. Taşkın Koçak, who was invited to the podium for the conference held at the Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, started his speech by giving information about his work on Metaverse and artificial intelligence, and the company initiative that exports software technologies; He explained with examples the history of Metaverse, which is rising around concepts such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), and what kind of experience it will be like. Koçak, who also included artificial intelligence technologies such as ChatGPT in his speech, also made important references to the details of the beneficial use of artificial intelligence, which heralds a great transformation from education to medical technologies. Koçak, who defines artificial intelligence as ‘man’s intelligent child’, also shared his predictions about what kind of social relations will be established in the future. Koçak conveyed important nuances to our students about conscious use and controlled technology integration, and noted that everything is in the hands of humanity.

Koçak, who sincerely answered our students’ questions regarding sectoral trends and global predictions, concluded his words by talking about career opportunities. At the end of the conference, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. A plaque of appreciation and a gift were presented to Koçak by Ümmügülsüm Erdoğan and our Secretary General Nazmi Karabulut.
